Michel Nasibu is an Investment Manager at Bamboo Capital Partners’ Agribusiness Fund.
Although born in Kinshasa, Michel has spent the majority of his teenage and adult life in Nairobi, first as a student and later as an investment professional in various capacities. He has accumulated over 10 years of experience in deal advisory and structuring, financial and operational due diligence, valuation, financial and operational modeling, business performance assessment, and business restructuring.
Prior to joining Bamboo Capital Partners, he worked as Investment Manager of Integra Limited (corporate finance arm of the FFK Group of Companies). He also worked for KPMG East Africa, where he was in the Deal Advisory Department.
Michel’s professional experience has spanned the following sectors: agribusiness, financial services, real estate, and construction, logistics, healthcare, and renewable energy. Although primarily based in Kenya, he has performed various tasks in Uganda, Tanzania, DR Congo, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Djibouti, South Sudan, Mauritius, Zambia, and South Africa.
On the academics’ side, Michel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Daystar University (Magna Cum Laude and Top of School of Economics) as well as a Master’s of Science Degree in Financial Economics from JKUAT University in Kenya.
He is fluent in English, French, Swahili, and Lingala.
