Vladimir de Maack

Vladimir is a Senior Operating Partner at Bamboo Capital Partners, where he will help on fundraising for Bamboo Capital leveraging his experience of institutional investors in Europe.

Vladimir started his career in 2003 in the Securities Services branch of Société Générale and joined Lyxor Asset Management in 2007 to strengthen the quantitative fund management team of Lyxor. His team of 7 junior portfolio managers covered the operational management of a 150 funds range including volatility trading, implied assets arbitrage, and structured funds.

In 2009 Vladimir joined the Lyxor Client Relationship team and participated in the launch of the Lyxor Key Client Program in Europe. In 2011 he was appointed Head of Sales for the Belgium-Luxembourg region, where his role was to market the Lyxor absolute return fund range, as well as to design customized investment solutions for sophisticated investors within the BASEL III and Solvency II framework. From 2014 to 2016 he successfully raised EUR 1.5 billion.

In 2016 he joined NewAlpha Asset Management, a subsidiary of La Française AM (Credit Mutuel Group). As an International Business Development Manager, Vladimir promoted the NewAlpha expertise of Emerging Managers seeding programs, Hedge funds advisory mandates, and Fintech VC funds. From 2016 to 2019, international assets under management climbed to more than USD 2 billion.

Vladimir graduated from EDHEC Business School in Lille, France with an MSc in Finance and is also Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
