Yannick Aparicio

Yannick is a Non-Executive Equity Partner at Bamboo Capital Partners, where he will help on fundraising for Bamboo Capital leveraging his experience in Europe and in the Emerging Markets.

Yannick is still working at Bank J. Safra Sarasin as Director for Private Banking activities. He mainly covers the UHNWI segment, focused on Emerging Markets.

Yannick has a deep knowledge of the Investment in Emerging Markets, and especially in the Latin America Region. He started his career working as M&A Analyst for Rothschild & Cie. Bank in the team covering Emerging Markets. He was mainly in charge of Financial and Insurance Groups (FIG) deals and privatization. During these years he advised the European Banks in their projects of external growth, acquiring Banks in Eastern Europe, Turkey, and Greece.

In 2006, after helping VW Group to exit from non-core business acquisitions (Gedas, Europcar, Campanil Hotels) Yannick joined Bank J Safra Sarasin Luxembourg (BJSSL) to develop the private Banking activity in the LATAM.  Jointly with the local offices, the Asset Under Management reached 1 USDB and they started advising part of the clients on LBO and sales deals on SME in the LATAM. After this first experience in the UHNWI segment, he joined BNP Paribas to incentive Private Banking and Investment banking to work together on the same kind of deals.

Back to BJSSL since 2016, he accompanied the group into the development of new financial engineering products and the UHNWI in their project of Business sales.

Over the past years he accompanied over 20 PE/VC investments across Europe, South America, in financial and industrial companies, specifically in the areas of factoring, lending, insuring, and agribusiness.
